Lake Victoria Basin is endowed with different types of water bodies some being most suitable sites for disease vectors which contributes to high incidences of water born diseases in the basin. The aim of this project was to investigate the use of indigenous plant extracts in the management of disease vectors in Nyando River Basin floodplain.

The main objective of this project was to study the quality of groundwater sources in Kisumu and provide information that will help well owners to protect their water from contamination.
